Nicolás Bertero
obtained his academic degree in Chemical Engineering in March 2003
at the Facultad de Ingeniería Química - UNL, and latter he got a PhD
degree in Chemical Engineering at the same college in December 2007.
The title of his PhD thesis is “Selective catalytic synthesis of
fine chemicals from aromatic ketones” and it was directed by Prof.
Alberto J. Marchi and co-directed by Prof. Carlos R. Apesteguía.
He did a
postdoctoral fellowship in the project “Emerging Technologies for
production of next generation biofuels” at the ICS-UNIDO
(International Centre for Science and High Technology - United
